
Your DUB Camper Hire Journey
To make the hire process as smooth as possible, we walk through the whole journey from start to finish, step by step. This includes how to reserve your dates, how to make payment and details of the campervan collection and return arrangements.
Booking Process
- Head Over to Book Online and Choose Your Campervan, either Nessa, Ruby or Izzy.
- To make your booking click on the ‘Book Now’ button, this will take you to the booking calendar and you will be able to view the availability of the campervan. Using the calendar you can select your chosen dates. A total price is displayed along with the deposit and remaining balance due.
- You can then move on to choosing any ‘Extras’ you wish to add on, from adding a porta potti to a bringing your dog, the total price, deposit and balance automatically updates.
- Now it’s time to fill out the form with your details.
- Once we have received your successful order, you will get email confirmation of your booking, detailing the deposit paid and the remaining balance (second payment). We request the remaining balance 4 weeks before travel.
- The Remaining Balance of Your Booking – We will be in touch via email approximately 4 weeks before the date of travel, to remind you about the remaining balance and provide our bank details to transfer the balance.
- A day or two before your date of travel we will be in touch via email, with details of how to find us and a reminder of the documentation you will need to bring with you. This also gives you a mobile contact number should you need to get in touch during your trip.
On the day
- Our standard pickup time is from 1pm and the handover process will last up to 1 hour so please allow time for this.
- We require 2 utility bills for each named driver from separate sources dated within the last 3 months. The address and name on your licence must match both documents. We accept the following documentation:
- An annual council tax bill will be accepted.
- Electricity (bill/statement)
- Water (bill/statement)
- Gas (bill/statement)
- Broadband/Landline
- Council tax
- TV licence
- Bank Statement
- Credit card bill / statement
- Mortgage statement
- Polling card
- HMRC self-assessment / tax credit
- We will require a copy of your passport or valid UK identity card, as well your photo card drivers’ licence, so please ensure you bring these with you for us to photocopy.
- A £1,000 Refundable security deposit is required, so please bring along the card you wish to use.
- Before departing, you must have signed a copy of our rental agreement. We will have this ready for you to sign on the day. The contract is quite wordy but it basically just says you are responsible for bringing the van back in the condition it left in, including a full tank of diesel.
Campervan Handover
The process is designed to help you get your holiday off to the best start.The meet and greet is a nice process as people are normally excited at the prospect of a trip away in a luxury camper.
- The first thing we do is pop up the roof and show how that works. Then we take you through the operation of the gas, the fridge and the electronic control panels.
- The bed then gets pulled out to show how that works and at this stage we usually make the point that it is better to have the bed made up before you go out for the evening. Making up the bed after a few too many glasses of wine is never fun!
- Collapsing the roof is an important part of the demo – you need to make sure the sides are tucked in tidily when the roof is in the down position. It is easy to clip in into position once the sides are sorted. We also show you how to use the moveable table. This is kept neatly stowed in the sliding door and can easily be set up inside or outside the van.
- We then move in to the cab to go through the final steps including driver controls and you’re off on your travels.
Campervan Return
We require our vans to be returned by 11am on the final day of your booking, unless a later check-out time has already been agreed. Should the vehicle be returned after the agreed time without prior warning, then a late fee will apply.
These can be found in the rental agreement. Please call beforehand to provide us with a rough ETA, so we can ensure we are there to greet you. Please be respectful with our vans and return them in the same conditional they went out in.

Collection from 13:00 and return up to 11:00 as standard

We are pet friendly and accept 1 well-behaved dog per vehicle
