What type of campsite pitch do I need regarding electric hook up and hard standing?
We recommend to choose a hardstanding pitch with electricity, particularly if you are going to be stationary for more than a couple of days. This protects against any inclement weather and not being able to drive off grass pitches.
We advise you hook up to the campsite electric to ensure the leisure battery does not run down. This also allows you to run more power hungry devices such as the electric kettle and hairdryers etc..
We recommend that our campers charge their leisure battery with electrical hook up a minimum of once every three days to ensure the health of the battery.
Do I need to be hooked up to electricity when plugging devices into the 3 point pin plug?
Yes. In order to use the 230v plug, you must be hooked up to electricity.
How long does the onboard leisure battery last?
This depends on how much power you consume, but we recommend being off-grid for no more than 3 days then plugging in on site using an electric hookup to top up the leisure battery.
Do your campervans have heating?
Yes all of our campervans run on diesel heating that can be left on over night and is temperature controlled meaning that it will cut out when it reaches the correct heat and come back on when the air cools. Approximately 1/4 cup of diesel will heat a campervan the whole night so it is super efficient and cost effective to operate.
Can I take the campervan to Europe?
